Support Groups

Parent/Carer support group.

The Parent/Carer support group welcomes parent/carers of children and young people who have, or may have a special educational need, or disability (SEND).

The Parent/Carer support group meets every 2 weeks from 10am to 12.30pm. Parents/Carers can get together to discuss any issues, and provide support and friendship to each other.

Due to capacity issues, SENDIASS has been unable to host the parent support group this year.

If you have any queries, interest in starting up the parent group or, would like further information please contact:

Parent/Carer Forum

Camden’s Parent Carer Forum is a group of parents and carers who meet twice in a term to ensure that parents/carers have their say when it comes to shaping Camden’s policies and practices particularly around SEN and disability issues. We are routinely consulted by Camden Council and other local groups when planning and reviewing their provision. The forum also informs the work of SENDIASS Camden.

The Camden Parent Carer Forum meet at Kentish Town Community Centre at the SENDIASS office, but is run entirely independently.

Everyone is welcome to join.

For more information contact the SENDIASS Manager, Julie, by e-mailing  or call 020 7974 6264.
